ronday-1Rodney Fox comes to Palms Springs by way of Georgia and Tennessee. He most recently lived in Atlanta for the past 19 years. He received an undergraduate degree in Nursing from East Tennessee State University. After working as a nurse in Emergency/Trauma and general medicine as a Registered Nurse, he attended Emory University where he earned a Master of Science in Nursing that prepared him as a Nurse Practitioner in the Adult population, he minored in Oncology and Immunology. Rodney also holds a research doctorate degree, a PhD in nursing science, from the University of Wisconsin. He focused his research on quality of life.
 

Rodney’s work has been broad and multi-faceted focusing in the area primary care within the context of Internal Medicine. He also has specialized training in the care of those with HIV/AIDS. Rodney has seen HIV/AIDS grow from an illness that ended in death to one that is chronic and manageable, allowing normal life expectancy. His more than 19 years of training in the health care industry will bring a wealth of knowledge to our team. 
 

While in Atlanta, Rodney was a group leader for a running group and performed in marathons and triathlons. He and his partner live in Palm Springs with their rescue dog Diego. Rodney admits his newfound addiction to consignment shops and getting lost in the Valley in search of new adventures. They also enjoy hiking the mountains and traveling to the various climates within the region.  The also like to enjoy the many restaurants in Palm Springs, but most love the ones within walking distance from their home.
